Need some help

Ok every one now I got your attention!LOL Im looking for a mid 70's GM for a demolition derby in the spring so it has to be solid. Dont care about drive train interior, etc just not much rust a 70's 4dr impella would be great or a buick electra, anything big and gm even a caddy id be willing to split on a parts car with someone all I need is the shell. I am willing to paint it up to help promote the site. I no it sucks to trash a good car but Ive always wanted to run in a open pro derby its a child hood dream and I have my chance this year. Also im looking for some help building it the more help the better not only do I want to run in the derby I want to win! Im building a strocker motor etc. I need some crazy gears like 4.88's or higher for 9' ford.
Help me out boys and I will make us all proud!biggrin

Yes it is for billy bash! Im going to run open pro you can run any year of car! We are also going to run 2 1980 a newer pro cars but they are easy to find and I have my simco car ready just need a axle, and have a couple of leads on box lincons. But Im told the best open car to run is pretty much any mid 70's GM.smile

I'll keep my eyes open for you Tiny. What's a reasonable price for one now?

Cheaper the better! Hey and I dont need the drive train so if we find the right car someone could have the drive train etc! From what I gather mid 70's old, chev, pontiac, and caddilac will work best Ive found a couple of old lincolns actually Todd found one but I dont about lincoln's.

I thought the same thing about an '86 Camaro I had!!!  Found a site dedicated to Caddy engines, and they had everything I needed to do it, their final comment was it will be TIGHT!!!!!  Kicking myself for not doing it......

My budd's says that it would be too expensive to sell one out of the yard. He has a dealer licence as well as the wrecker, so has to do all paperwork or he can be sued if someone gets hurt in the car.(too bad as he has a nice fleetwood but would cost you at least 500$) He did say that the next fullsize g.m that he gets a call on, he will let me see it before he picks it up so I could buy it first. That way no paper trail, no insurance, no problem. Are you still interested? Mike.
