RE: Islander's 1965 Acadian Canso SD

What a coincidence! The only two where I looked at the vin vs body, they are very close.

Then I look at the whole page and my vin and body are closer than any others on that whole page!

I can check but I think it was around 91 or 92. I got the car in 86 and did this when it was still free.

Couple of V8 Acadians on there too, one a wagon.

Just noticed, 2 V8 wagons. One Canso, one lower level trim but both 283 wagons.

Never seen a V8 65 Acadian wagon in real life.

You mean the X14? I think that means RHD but not sure.

I just dug out the VIN for my first 65 SD I had in 74. It's only about 50 cars off the other 65 I am talking about in the posts above here. Sadly, I only have the VIN. No other info from it.

Documents dated April 25, 1991.

Poorly done too. Three errors by Roy J Mercer at GM.

Wrong year on documents (1968!)

Pontiac Acadian!

Trim 18---Light fawn. Nope, it's black.

Of all the 1st gen Novas & Acadians I think my favorite is the 65 Canso. Can't beat that taillight trim on a small car.

Agreed. Pretty snazzy for an economy car!
