Well after a beautiful fall, winter's inevitable arrival is imminent in TO so it was time to get the last of the vehicles into storage at Ray's warehouse this past Saturday. As my GTO has some brake issues and isn't currently licenced, I thought it would be a better idea to flatbed it over.
The bed of the flatbed doesn't quite match the leve of the loading dock so we had to improvise with "mini ramps".
maneuvering back into position.
next, JB's race is loaded as it is too low to clear the ramps.
Ray is saying: "How did you manage to leave so much rubber in such a short space?"
We even let Mustangs in!

Here's a picture of the wagon taken this morning, it's wintering in the driveway this year:
Here are some pics of the Z28 which will be going into storage in the next couple of days. Usually it would be sporting chrome Torque Thrust II's and 40 series rubber. The original owner drove it year round so that is why it has the winters and "stealth" V6 Camaro wheel covers on it; I use those for storage to prevent flat spotting of the summer tires plus if I ever have to put it on the road in the winter in case of emergency, it is ready to go.
My own custom made decals, homage to the mighty 70 LT-1.
Engine is bored and stroked to 396 CID (nice # eh?) with a complete LT-4 top end ( which was the hot set-up for LT1's in 96/97 ). Puts out almost 400hp at the rear wheels, runs low-mid 12's in 1/4.
No Trans Am yet, but if you know of a nice 73/74 SD for CHEEP, let me know Carl.

That appears to be a beeee-u-tiful car. How about saving me from searching and provide a link or post some more shots?
I'm usually not partial to green, but that colour combo rocks.
Thanks Bob. I guess I will have to do up a thread for the members' rides section, but for now I have to get back to work. I live for the 70's though, and the baja gold/verdoro green combo ( in reality harvest gold and avocado green ) was just too much for me to resist. Let's just say for now that I am the proud owner of CP's Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde.

Thanks John, and the stripes are original too. I was told that since they are so nice, I should get them scanned and have re-pops made, but I wonder how much demand there would be?
