You need to have a price range. Why unrestored?

RE: WANTED!! 1961 - to - 1972 ORIGINAL PAINT // UNRESTORED

Thanks I will check out the 65 SD out West
As far as ...why Unrestored?.......I don't like restored cars!!!
I prefer QUALITY Original Paint, Unrestored, Survivor Type cars.......always have!
Naturally if a door has been painted or new top put on at some time that is ok.......near impossible to get one totally untouched.
Quality Survivor cars not needing resto are out there, tough to find GOOD ones  but they are around!
I want a good and will pay mid to high $20's for one. In this market place that should buy a
very nice car.
I believe the day is coming when most average Restored cars are going to be a tough sell, maybe never sell it! Good Orig paint cars will hold their value much better.

OK,,,it's not for sale,,,,does that help LOL!!!

it's just one of those semi dry prarie cars you hear about , then luck is on your side the day the owner actually calls to take you up on your offer....

still bone stock other than wheels and mexican blankets.

I like it so much, I put my 57 Pontiac hartop up for sale , so I could keep the 55,,,a car I've wanted since I was 14.

IF your wagon wasn't on the opposite side ,,I'd most likely've drug it home by now

and the collection grows

my brother has an 81 trans-am turbo, all original that he says he will sell, just have to get his girlfreind to agree! She wants to keep it. He keeps talking about making it a racecar of sorts, i keep telling him to leave it alone.

Thanks for the replys but as I said above.........1961-1972 Quality Orig Paint car not needing resto. The '55 and '56 Chevy are very tired cars needing resto, not looking for that, too many of those around ........now find me a very pristine 2dr Classic Chevy with Nice Orig Paint and I'm listening. Cash waiting for the RIGHT car!

Just for clarification, the 46'000 mile 55 chevy is far from tired, it is however ' worn' in appearence. For some reason at the car shows, that is what people like and comment on.

Yes, your right, there is an original out there waiting, good luck with your search

Agree Rog, your 55 looks like a very good & highly restorable car. You are lucky to have it. Those of us who are Pontiac AND Chevy guys are envious I'm sure.

I started buying car mags in 1970 and I remember a big write-up & road test of one of these. At the time I thought it was the coolest new car.  There weren't many then, and you hardley ever see them now.

I always liked these cars, they were real sleepers.  The ad is gone, how much was he asking for it?
