Was there anything cooooooooler than the Rat Pack in their prime? Even Johnny looked out of his league. wink

Today's stars just don't seem to have the same shine.

And now they're all gone.

I have most of their movies and albums, and a full size print of Ray's current avatar that I got in Las Vegas.  What I wouldn't have given to see them live in their prime.  There is a DVD available with the full length version of that first clip.  Their Christmas Album is great, I keep it in the car and listen to it all the time.smile

That is the DVD I was referring to, it is actually a DVD and CD combo.  The CD part has been a permanent fixture in the CD player in my car since I got it.biggrin

In my teens, 20's and 30's, I thought.........."Meh".........about Frank and all that big band sound. My dad was a Sinatra fanatic his whole life, so I grew up with Frank pounding it out in the family home.

Later, as I got rid of all that crap between my ears, I came to understand what my dad already knew. Frank was THE MAN.

All that swagger was earned. The man lived it, loved it and went to his grave as Chairman of the Freakin' Board.

It's been three years now, and I miss my dad more every day. So, I throw on some Sinatra and my dad's sitting beside me once again.

Thanks, Frank.
