66 Pontiac

Well I told the story of winning the 58 Laurentian in the library section (sorry). I once had a 66 Parisienne 4 dr hdtp.  In 1970 I met a girl and we hit it off pretty good. I was driving a 64 Comet 2 dr hdtp at the time. After about 4 months she told me she liked me a lot but hated my car. So to the car lots around St. John's to see what I could come up with. We were driving down Kenmount Rd. one night on our way to the A&W and she spied a nice car at Marshall Motors. It was a 66 Parisienne 4 dr hdtp and in excellent shape and we went to have a look.I traded in the Comet on it that night and ever since have always Pontiacs and still have the same girl!smile

Ha, a story with a double happy ending!

A friend of mine took a girl out for their first date in his Cutlass that was an insurance write off. It had never been fixed, he drove it exactly as it had been when written off. His logic was, if she goes out with me again, she's not after me for my car.

They have been married since 1987..............!!
