If the true meaning of christmas was being observed , and the reasons behind it were followed that it celebrated the birth of christ, and not the gross commercialition (sp) of it and if all those of diferent religions could work together, it might work

but first we got to stop pandering to the tree hugger, the diferent groups who stopped prayer in schools, christmas symbols in public places because they were of another religion, and those that dont believe in christmas altogether. most religions believe in a superior being be it god, allah, mohammed, or one of many other names , if they were to stop for a moment and think ITS ALL THE SAME STORY, just rewritten in diferent languages with diferent names and places. I might not be the most religous man around but I do believe in god and therefore his son CHRIST so lets keep that thought going

so if we keep CHRIST in christmas there is a chance, but we all gotta work together, and as society is changing I think that chance is melting like a spring snow

We toned down all the silliness in our house a few years ago. It was getting out of hand.

Now it's about $100 per child. To me, I need to be a good parent all year, not try to make up for it with a bunch of expensive gifts each Christmas.
