A relative of mine has a Stanley opener. She had trouble with the door opening randomly so I changed the code. Now we can't figure out how to program her keypad on the outside of the garage. It's the wireless keypad, not like the older ones I had years ago when we lived in town. Those pads had two wires running to the opener.
Anyone know how to do it? We can't find her manual and nobody seems to know.
The keypad worked perfect until I changed the code. I even tried putting the code back to what it was but no luck, the pad still won't work.

I had one of these Stanley wireless remotes, and it worked fine. My sister bought a house that had the same remote, but no instructions so I copied mine and gave it to her. My buddy had a remote that looked exactly the same, but didn't say "Stanley" on it and the instructions wouldn't work. He eventually called the manufacturer and got them to step him through it. Be sure to follow all the steps, including the "Radio Code" then the "Access Code".
