I took the advice of the fellow CP members and went to BeaglePaws a rescue site for Beagles.

Awwwwwwwww! Congrats on the new arrival! Any name yet? (Same colours as this months feature car. 2+2 would be a nice name.)

Good for you, hopefully that will soon fill the gap. Each one has its own personality but puppies are still the cutest. Should bring some laughs.

Seven years ago our 14 year old ****er spaniel Finnegan developed Cushing's Disease and although he appeared alright in most of his behaviour, one morning he woke up, was just walking in a circle, didn't know his name, didn't know who we were so we did the only humane thing even though it killed us to do it. This was a dog that knew all his toys by their names that we'd given them and every ball that he had, he also knew by colour. For him to not even know his own name
or anything else that particular morning was just unbelievable how fast it hit him. I guess the best
way to describe it is like Alzheimer's in humans; a lot of the same symptoms and characteristics.
