I came upon your site when looking for local Pontiac clubs/sites. Thought I'd share some pics of my '68 350 Firebird that I've owned for a few years now. The original owner's manual and Protect-O-Plate say it was sold on June 20th, 1968 at Grant Brown Pontiac in Toronto.

Yep, original bench and column shift. Had a local classic car upholsterer say he's been in business for 30 years and it's the first time he's seen a bench in a first-gen F body. They're pretty rare.

Thats just what I was thinking, rare as hell !! Have heard of it but never seen one. My sons 67 camaro was colum shift but had buckets. Its nice to see that no one converted it. I used to have a neet option years ago, a fold down back seat. I let that go for cheap. What a idiot. Like to see a full shot if the bench if you have one.

A couple more pics of the front bench and back seat. The seat upholstery is original:

Wow !!! Original yet. Its just keeps getting better. That split bench just looks so cool. Thanks for posting those pics.
The 67 in my avitar was a overhead cam six sprint I had in the early 80's. I also had a 68 400 4 speed convert. back in 73 with the same colour combo yours has . Got a soft spot for early birds.

And seat belts for 3 in the front, and 2 in the rear!

I was just about to ask if you still had the 67 in the pic. Mine was good ol' "Resale Red" when I bought it from a guy near Niagara Falls a few years back. I have since spent a ton of dough, many hours and yards of knuckle skin getting it to this stage of "done". Lots more to do this winter.
By the way, it's now back to it's original body tag colour: Aleutian Blue

Thanks! I've been a member for years on a U.S. first-gen Firebird site. They've discussed the Comanche on numerous occasions but I've NEVER seen these pics. Very nice..thanks so much for sharing!

Just offering my welcome too. Love the fact that it is a Canadian sold car and I have to admit I never even knew a bench seat was available in the 1st Gen F body. Once again Canadian Poncho continues to educate us.
