RE: jim pattison chev on main

Cool, Metro duncan used to be owned by Charlie Forrest if he is still kicking around he may have some old main street decals for 65SD if not maybe since your still there you could get hold of Sharron Mcleod I think she's in head office now she was at main street too and would know if there was any memorabilia left kicking around

Charlie is still around, He also lives close by. I started in Duncan back in the early 80's, been through a lot of owners and staff, even I have gone away and returned, LOL. Will ask Charlie next time I see Him, He is also retired, well sort of, and pops by every couple of months. Will say Hi to Tony for ya next time I see him, probably in april.   Where U workin at now?? Did u make the all Pontiac show in surrey last year?? I was there 65sssd and met up with a few people. Gonna try and bring my ride this year if we get it painted.

Tony's brother, Brian, went on my road trip with me. Last time I saw Tony was this spring when he & his wife came out here for Brian"s retirement party, from Metro Police Services in Toronto. Brian mentioned that Tony & Ann were down south for the winter in California [it's now minius 6 F here]  that sounds like it's the place to be!!!

I could only stomach him for about a month, he was a real A@#hole that new absolutely nothing about running a dealership, Him and I had a major the day I quit I litterally fired my keys across the desk at him and told him where to shove them, have not seen him since and hope I never do again,

I wanted to buy a Truck through  the JP industry, I wanted a full size Chev, dreiger told me I could not afford it so quit wasting his time. 1 month later we bought a full size GMC at the dealer down the road, Charlie asked me why I bought there instead of through JP, I told him and he was pissed.

Oh ya Charlie was camera happy so he might have some pictures of JP on Main. I will ask him next time I see him.
