Great car you have there Bjoern! Love the color. It sure makes the roads over there look small. Thanks for the video.

Thank you Bjoern for the nice ride in your Pontiac. It's been a long time since I looked over the hood of a 65.

great looking and sounding car.   I noticed it has the opposing windshield wipers like the US cars, I thought a Canadian '65 would have the parallel wipers.  I know the US cars went to parallel wipers in '70.

The RHD Pontiacs built for Australia, etc, had the opposing wipers. Strange if this LHD car has them.

Good eye!

That certainly is odd, isn't it?

65 Parisienne wipers: Yes thats correct.. good eyes!!

My parisienne has the original the parallel wipers. (I just have storage)

I like the US Catalina Bonneville opposing windshield wipers so i had replaced it with the linkage.. easy swap, because under the cowl panel are all mounting holes for doing this.. no drilling was neccessary..the firewall looks to be same on all 65 Chevy Impala and canadian Pontiacs and US Pontiacs

The US Pontiacs have an Ventura option on Catalina..these cars have the parallel wipers .. so you see that the canadian Pontiacs are one step further than the US Pontiacs..smile

For good eye people..
My taillight panel is from an 65 Catalina..PONTIAC is written on it and not PARISIENNE it was in an very nice condition so i changed this, too .. Thats all.. all other parts are correct... but doors, rear quarters and front fenders are from rust free Arizona cars like GP and Catalina during the frame off resto job.. All interchangable ..This car has only i little bondo for some minor dents..an 100 percent rust free car with many wax inside..

Her are some pics of before and after..bought in 2002
