Grumpy had bags of money too.

I took it out for a drive, trying to get on the kms but also a good night to drive alone and ponder. I was really hoping to show off this new engine to Hillar, instead I just drove around thinking about what a decent guy and good friend he was.

I recall him saying when I told him the quote I got from Tony "That's a No Brainer Ray!" He was right , this new cam wants to hold the revs up when you let off, love it, reminded me of an LT1 we had in a Z/28, but then again when I look back on the posts I did say the cam spec'd out better than the LT1.

I just told Mary she can't drive it until it hits 500 km break in period.....this could take weeks biggrin

Oooops, seems the 6,000 lb. bemouth can now lay rubber from a standing start.  Note to self, don't do that again while wife is watching no

So Mary took my Deville to a meeting at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital today, says the Sub doesn't clear the parking garage. No problem I'll drive it. I'm coming out of the Bay at lunch time, Hudson North shirts regular $42 on for $9.99 so I bought 10, 5 for me 5 for Jr.

Anyway I start out of the driveway and then this Black G35 appears and he's going at a good clip, so I mash it in the interest of safety. What an embarassment! The big rig looses all rear traction and starts frying the rear tires, so hey look at me I'm stunt driving in a 6000 lb. truck. Lots of rubber neckers on the street staring at me in distain and disbelief too. Next light the G35 pulls up beside me and the 30 something driver gives me the thumbs up. I could have crawled into a hole.

I think I better write a Testimonial for Tony to post on his web site. This engine is getting stronger ever time I drive it. Just a little over 3,000 km on it since being rebuilt almost time for oil change #2 at 3500 km.
