So bias plys are no good for a driver eh, even the ones that are reproduced, like a poly glass GT, they just look so dam good, it s a bummer that they don't compare. Would you recommend using a set of originals from back in the day, I ask this because some people tell me that I have a early death wish if I use them, even if they are plyable and not weather cracked, thanks for any info.

         Repros are "fine" for cruising, as long as you don't mind the harshness...  

         Don't drive ANYWHERE on 20-30-40 year old tires!!  no no no no  Carl

They are harsh riding, himm dont think the look would justify the ride quality that they are know for, just have to settle on a set of diamondback classics radial tires, anyone know of a local supplier that carries these?
