Don't EVER think a question is to simple or silly!!    68427 wasn't hollering!  his caps were stuckwink    It takes a lot of practice, to remember the Cdn Pontiacs are Impala drivelines... lol    I have some alunimum spacers if you want to set "up" the rear by 1.5 inches ....

Cool, yah i was a little confused about how much of teh car is an Impala. Im actually going to cut a coil out of the new rear coils i got to get it to sit a bit lower, not import/lowrider low, just down a bit to tuck in the 275'60/15's. With the 2" drop spindle from the cpp brake kit and 235/60/15's up front should sit nice i hope.  Im just doing my winter collection of parts so in the spring a can assemble everything. So far lot's of parts ordered, and lot's more coming, Summit loves me, Visa loves me, wife..........well not so much. When she asks if the car is going to be loud im not sure how to answer that with a straight face, ( 10:1, long tubes, comp thumpr, 3" two chambers and turndowns....hmmm........

Yes, simplest way to remember is think of it with the body off. If you picture the body off and the rest sitting there on the floor as a rolling chassis, that is an Impala you are looking at. Ignore the parts books, a lot of them do not recognize Canadian Pontiacs as even existing.

it gets trickier when you get into the car.  Pedals (including park brake mechanism) are Chevy.  I'm not sure about the column.  If you had a console, that'd also be Chevy.

Column and wheel are Chev.

Dash is almost entirely Pontiac... except the glove box lock position is....wait for it....Canadian Pontiac!

Yes, I made sure to stay clear of anything above the frame when I stated that. Once you're in the body, it's either Chev, Pontiac or Canadian Pontiac only!
