I like the fact that she has been rescued. More people should adopt animals. She should be a lot of fun!

excellent on the rescue. the little girl in my avatar is a beagle lab mix rescue. who ever had her, trained her well but beat the living snot out of her and was male. even after 8 years of good living she is still scared of men. but thats another story
Very nice to hear! Looking at that picture, is it any wonder that Charles Shultz made Snoopy a beagle? Congrats!!

There's nothing better than getting a rescue dog. I have signed up to foster rescue dogs until a family is found (1 at a time that is). My way of giving back and all I do is pay for food and Jingles always has a buddy to play with.
That is excellent! Way to go! I thought about fostering dogs too, but I'm quite sure that in Winnipeg they only go to non-dog homes?.... interesting! A great thing done, you are dogs best friend!
Here's our "rescue" dog, he was "dumped" down in Ohio, & brought up to Ontario by local rescue centre. They thought he was 2 1/2 yrs. old, but our Vet. thinks around one yr. Tommy's a HOOT, much different than our last dog, who was mature & easy going, this guy is on the go all the time, but is smart when he wants to be & "dumb as stump" sometimes, but great friend, but will never be the same as one we had to put down, but they never are the same!!!!
OK, a little close to home! The picture here is of my Schnauzer, aged 9, and our new addition last spring, Sebastien. A rescue dog, from a home in Brooklin Ontario, and he came from Ohio as well! He is about 5-7 yrs old. A little stupid, and ever caring and loving.
They should regulate the amount of breaders and all other dogs should be spayed and neudered, no exeptions! If you want a dog that's the law!. I have adopted all my dogs as adults in the pound and it's good to see that others do the same. It brakes my heart everytime I go into a pound. I adopted my 5 year old dog and they said that she was too old and unadoptable. That was 10yrs ago and she's the best dog that I have ever met. Goes to prove that there all adoptable at any age.

Here's my "Grandchildren". Gucci the pup is on an overnighter at our house for a couple of days. She won the lotto when my daughter pick her for a pet. She's a great weekly guest and I can send her home when I tire of her. No diapers , just piddle pads. Trixie the Cat doesn't visit. Allergies, you know.
