66 acadian Canso radio

Well.. I went to a wrecker in minus 23 yesterday (by Brooks AB) and picked up a few goodies for 65 Beaumont.  while there.. the guy helping me showed me this radio.  knowing I dont need it, but someone here could.  I bought it.

Did you happen to see any decent 66 stuff while you were there? I'm in Red Deer and need a few things myself?

Thanx!

Makes me want to buy it and turn my 67 Nova SS into an Acadian. If I could only find a 67 SD with all the trim, I'd do it.

hi Kelico

Tom from Manitoba

I am interested in the radio. I'm assuming it is the same as 67? Do you or anyone else have the backing plate for it or is that the same as Nova.

The face plate for Nova and Acadian are the same, the 2 brackets that hold it in place are the same, the knobs for 66 and 67 are different but will interchange.

sorry for the tardy reply.. it's been awhile.
they have a collection of new and old.. not really any specifics on ages.. other than he's a Mopar guy.. so probably more of that stuff.
