My "New Winter Beater"

  The Caprice wagon is having heating issues, rather than fix it, while it was -30 out, I bought something else....  1989, Its fully Loaded, 350/5-speed, only option it doesn't have that my old 88 did, is the bucket seats and console

Was gonna look at a 4X4, but then found this one....It's like the 88 I had years ago, and it was a blast...The 4X4 I was gonna look at was a 51 GMC on a 79 Blazer chassis, with a 350/4 speed stick, but the guy didn't email me back in time, of course, the night I bought this, I get home and theres an Email from the guy with the 51...Oh Well

 Probably, but the 51 had the heater and everything installed from the blazer, so it might not have been that bad..
   On that serial # link, this truck comes up as a 1 of 3 trucks with the options it has.  My 88 was a 1 of 2.  The skirting was an option I was told, but never checked it, as were the stripes. My buddy had a set of these kicking around for years and finally gave them away a couple years ago

COOL!!!  My black one will have a big job living up to the Red on I had.  It was done up with a TB Spacer, K&N, Magna Flo, and an IROC chip in the 'Putor.  My buddy bought it originally and the mechanics were bored and tried the Camaro chip in it and it worked... But everytime he took it for service and they plugged it to their putor, it came up as a 88 IROC...Confused some of the mechanics.

I suspect, if it is the OEM engine it is actualy a 305

 Nope, both the 88 I had and this one are 5.7's.  This one was a one owner truck and has 210,xxx kms
