Great Game Tonight - Flames / Canucks

Anyone watch the game tonight ? You'll have a hard time finding a better game to watch than that one. I got put to sleep watching the Penns spank the Leafs then this barn burner came on.

What a treat it must be for you guys in Calgary and Vancouver to actually watch a real hockey team play!

Looks like the Flames are getting in the playoff groove, they are becoming shut down artists. Anyway to lose that one in a shootout must really be a blow to Luongo, he gave up all three BUT you'd have to admit they were all awesome goals, had to be to beat an awesome goalie.

Hab's Devils was a goaltending duel. Great game. Ride Brodeur to the gold medal boys!

That was a good game. There is nothing like a rivalry and they obviously don't like each other but it sure brings out the energy for both teams. I was impressed with Calgary because they had played a whack of games in a short time. I always am amazed how guys come back so strong a night later after playing at that intensity and getting banged and crashed and still put in an effort like that. Not often you see that many goals scored in the shootout on either of those goalies. Wish all games were like that one.

It was definately an entertaining game, I'd agree, Playoff style Hockey...Coach Sutter was pretty pissed at the way they played the previous two, and really lit a fire under them.
Per usual though, they always seem to play the best against Edmonton and Vancouver, A couple of the best rivalries ever!!!

Isn't it a great game ? My Flames looked great last night but they sure sucked against Columbus, went to that game ugh... ! Awesome to be in 1st place in the NW division again, hopefully we can stay there by beating Colorado tomorrow nite. My sons team won 3 in a row as of last night too & came up to 4th spot in the north AJHL , my son in law to be lost though down in Omaha playing NCAA Div 1 for the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks. ... soo much hockey and sooo little car time....
