Tremec 5 Spd Perfect Fit Kit For 1969 Beaumont

Hope you all had a good X-Mas and all the best for 2010. I went down to Point Roberts and Picked up my X-Mas present yesterday { I was a Really Good Boy this Year} I bought the Keisler Tremec 600 5 Spd perfect fit kit, it includes the 5 spd Trans, clutch and pressure plate, flywheel, x member mount, tunnel sheetmetal shifter boot and I ordered the Hydraulic clutch kit with Clutch and pedal assembly, the driveshaft and slipyolk are included but you have to mount the trans and then sent the measurements to Keisler so they can custom fabricate one. The directions are well written and easy to understand with lots of pictures. I am totally pumped to get started on this part of my project. I will keep you all up to date as I progress with this swap from 3 spd Column shift to the 5 spd. I start my holidays next month so I should have lots of time for the Car.  Later Guys

Hi there, I am new to this site and the hobby really. I am having a member of this site do the body work to my lemans right now. When I get it back in the spring/summer I will have the task of reasembling the car. Was really considering the 5 speed conversion, just would like to know how you like the kit, thanks for any info.

Hi I am interested in install the same trans in my 67 beaumont, did you have to go to the states to pick it. Would they not ship to Canada?

Glenn, you would get hit hard with duty and brokerage fees if they shipped it to Canada ! If you live close to the U.S border ( Buffalo worked for me) you can have it sent to a place called US address where they will hold it for you ( for a fee)  until you come to get it!

here is the website   http://www.usaddressinc.com/

i did the switch a couple of years ago switching from a 3 sp in my truck to a T5. night and day. mind you my T5 is no where as strong as your tremec. i used all the stock linkage because i didn't change my bell housing.
