Poor man's rotisserie

I went to see my friend the other night who is building the 65 Acadian 2 door hardtop/wagon. He showed me the poor man's rotisserie he built. Kind of cool.

That is neat.  Looks like he has been doing quite a bit of frame and floor work.

S10 front clip, full frame. It's gonna be heavy!!!

That front clip looked familiar. He will be able to use a rear sump oil pan with that set up.

I like the rised tranny tunnel & stiff flat floor with nice bead rolling (Interesting)

isn't it usually just the body on a rotisserie?

Yes, but in this case it started life as a unibody so as he replaced the original unibody with this frame, he made it one piece.  The body will not lift off the frame when he is done.

It's on air bags. I saw it on the floor one day when he had the bags in for the mockup. And I mean, it was on the floor!!!

That will be a very cool ride!! Great choice of engine transplants too! Turbos are the way to go for driveability and power... that body style, and built as a 2dr wagon is very very nice!!

Has he built other cars Carl? which ones?

He used to own the black 67 Beaumont SD clone with the 427 4 speed. I likely don't need to say any more about his talents once I tell you that!!
