hi all & thank you for the welcome. i come from lancing in west sussex,on the south coast. i have an old mate called mick who lives in thornbury in the golden triangle & another mate of mine has bought a farm near london. i wanted to emmigrate over as i'am on the skills wanted list being a welder but my wife buckled to parent pressure & said no (boohoo). anyway if someone can tell me how to upload some pics i will gladly do so,especialy as someone on here will know my car as its former owners lived in ontario uptill a year ago when they moved back to the uk,they used it as a daily in canada & i'll be its 4th owner so not bad for a 48yr old car!! cheers rik.
I have a 64 convertible up in the Uxbridge area. I've had the car about 12 years so I may be able to offer advice on getting parts and owning such a car in the UK etc, especially if you're unfamiliar with Canadian pontiacs. In any case it would be good to hook up some time to see your car. I'm pretty much house bound for a few weeks with a cracked pelvis but I'd be happy to chat by email or phone in the meantime.
When you are writing a post, first you have to click on the box "Advanced Editor"
Then, you will see, underneath the white area for printing is a box that is marked "Attach Image"
Click on that, then a big File Upload box appears with "Browse" buttons.
Pick a photo by clicking the first "Browse" button which opens your hard drive or flash drive for going to the directory where you have your pictures (JPG only!).
Double-Click on the photo (JPG) to bring it into the the list of File Upload.
Go to the next "Browse" button and repeat for 2nd picture. Continue until all pictures are listed.
Click on "Upload Files" to bring the photos into your post
Click Submit Post
There's more but this will get you started.
From another one of your (slightly warmer) colonies that got away,
Dave
