A couple of years ago I was heading east on Hwy 16, east of Saskatoon, I saw a59 like that one in a yard for sale. It was near Elstow. I made a note of where it was and a few days later when I got back that way, it was gone. Same colour. It looks like a good project for someone, too bad it's so far away for me, the shipping would be expensive.

that is a cool car. I am picking up two seats and a headliner for mine from the one located north of toronto tommorow (thanks for the tip Earl) actually, my brother in law is picking them up for me.
Now from what i was told its a black 4 door with a coral roof. A tree fell on the garage and hit the rear quarter, other than that its fine. I will hopefully get some pics tomorrow night. Now if somebody buys that one and needs another one for sheet metal then contact me as soon as possible because the owner said hes selling it for scrap steel!!! AAAHHH!!!

scratch my last post because the car was a pile of junk!! Seats were torn, wet and moldy, and when my brother in law put his hand on the front seat he fell through and hit the springs. The seller told me that the seat had a little tear in it and the rest of the car was in great shape except for the rear fender. Turns out the whole car is rotten, nothing even left on it to use. Im glad i dident drive 3 hours to go and get it myself!! Oh well.

Either they are lonely, or they think there's a "sucker" born every minute, & B/S baffles brains???

49bridge.jpgoldtruck.jpggood better best....the net and TV has glamerized the old cars. the general public does not see the difference between the ' keep walking ' and ' it's just like the one on Barrett Jackson...well almost'

as soon as a quick buck is involved....

old story,,,

I was putting a phone service in on a rural farm, 30 feet into the bushes was a early 50's pontiac 4 dr with a visor,, the car was left for dead. I asked the owner if he had plans for the car,,,'NOPE' was the reply, I asked if I could buy the visor off it,,,"WELL...I'm planning on fixing it up" . Oh,,,,OK, I just thought if I could buy it, I would like for a 50 Chevy truck I was building. After consideration,, he decided for $50 bucks , he might not require the visor for the restoration ...LOL !
