Starting tearing into the 70 Rag body last night and noticed that the trunk support that comes down from the rear tray on each side is missing I'm guessing that on the previous body/trunk job cut that support was cut out. I have a trunk pan that i cut out of another car to use but i didn't keep the full support. didn't think i would need it. heres a pict to give an idea what i'm looking for. steve

My thinking is they left it out intentionally on the CP and Chev ragtop. They probably wanted the convertible to flex a little in the back, instead of all at the door jamb.
