My boss at the Pontiac dealer I was at from 80-85 had one of those.

He bought it in Florida, drove it home to Manitoba and a few days later some officials told him he had 24 hours to get it back to the USA!!! Seems the paperwork hadn't quite been filled out at the border........!

It had to stay in the US, (25 miles south of us) and he just drove it from there any time he went somewhere with it. At that time it was not acceptable for import.

There is one just like it sitting not too far from Ingersoll, Todd. Might be able to buy it cheap.

These front wheel drive models have actually quite a high survival rate. Still meet them on the road often enough. Like other things that were just a little bit different they seem to have a bit of a cult following.

I like itl They don't look as dated as other motorhomes from the 70's.

He's right..... wink.gifwink.gif there is the perfect amount of space on the sides for the logo!!!!!!!!!  You sure you can't find a loop hole where you can write off the purchase under "business" use....... shh.gif   Maybe for "advertising"???

All I could think when I saw the first few pictures was the movie "STRIPES" and sure enough I'm not the only one that thought it. Amazing how modern they look considering the age.

They do have a cult following. Kinda neat. A decent one can be had $10G's. Only problem is you can buy a LOT newer & better motorhome for the same money.
