well i found a motor for my 62 acadian s/w..the one that over heated..it came out of a 69 beaumont..looks to be clean and the right price..not that it really matters but just woundering if it`s a base 230 or the optional 250 ci..i checked the pad and it looks like KOX or Y..it must be a canadian code team chevelle 69 code are differant.
Here is what my 69 Beaumont had on it K0423AN. K is for Mckinnon 0423 is date april 23 and AN is for a 69 230. I have seen a list of Canadian codes some were but can not remember were. Dam old age.
These are the sufix codes from a chevelle site. I see that the code AN matches my 69 Beaumont code and is correct as a 230 with glide. I think they even used the same block for 230 and 250. If no one else has the answer you would have to measure bore and strock.
