At one point someone on here said a total of 83 or 84? I wonder if the 63 or 66 is for SD cars and the total in the 80's would be all Acadians?

Speculation............

I'm sure Joe Lizon or Chris Pointon know the exact number of L/79 Acadians.

Yes, I think Joe is the one who posted the figures at one point. I just can't remember the exact numbers.

According to GM of Canada records there were 63 l79 Acadians built all in 1966.
There is no breakdown of how many were Cansos, invaders, wagons, SD's ect.
There are less then 10 documented l79'S in the registry.

Did you say there is a possibility of an L/79 Invader wagon? I believe it is questionable whether or not GM ever built a L/79 Nova wagon. It would be nice to verify.

I remember when the L79 wagon showed up, there was lots of discussion on Steve's Nova site about it, the L79 option was available- but not sure if they had the data to prove it. The 63 numbers of Acadians that Bill posted I believe are correct and they don't distinguish models.

I did a site search and his handle is Jerhra from Taylorsville KY. Maybe he could share some information on L/79's and L/79 wagons.
