How is the ride with this combo? Are you running the stock suspension/brakes/springs?

Bigger is going to going to be a rough ride. Also, it'll be tough to beat that current look...

The car has Eibach srings and stock drum brakes all around. The ride is nice and smooth with no issues.

and don't worry....I'll keep it under 20"s

Goodbiggrin   I am sorry  I jumped on your idea  BUT   you have one of the nicest looking cars in the world, and I didn't want you to turn it into a "tuner car"   or a Donk   lol

If I remember right I think 255 17"  40 series are the largest that will work on a 65 A-body on the rear and 245 's on the front. I have seen that combo on a 65 car.

4.5" BS on the Fronts
5.5" BS on the Rears

The car is lowered and the wheels have tons of clearance. They never rubbed.

Think they will fit on a 65' Impala? I just picked one up and it could serious use rims - lol
