67 Canso SD

Hey there,
look what I just picked up this weekend,I'm pretty stoked about the car.I just had to do a burn out in my garage. The car has been stored for 20 plus years and owned for 37 years by the previous owner who is a stand up guy

I'm just gonna wait a couple of minutes for 427Carl to enlarge your photos!!!

Congrats, how about some details on the car, miles, options, powertrain etc.

And I can't believe 68SD hasn't asked you yet to put it in the registry....

the car is originally a 283 ,2 sp glide car but now boasts a 350 horse 327 ci and a 3 spd auto, which may change to a 4 spd auto or manual.Whats your thoughts?

4 speed manual. I had to think about that one for all of about 2 seconds!

I have my 65 Canso SD that I am converting to 4 speed.

In the next few years I will get at my 67 Nova SS factory 327 glide car that will also be converted to 4 speed. To me, there is nothing like a 4 speed muscle car.

Boy, that sounds like a cool Acadian. I hope that you don't mind me chasing you down on my next trip to Strathmore which could be this year....

Man, I'm jealous! I love red interiors in Acadians.

Anyone know of a rotten 67 SD basket case? I'd love to turn my 67 Nova SS into an Acadian SD. I have thought of that many times.

The relative rumour is true!

As long as there is a Coke machine on the way to your place, that's all I require!  If it was me, I'd just do a Muncie and keep it original unless there is a conversion to fit the stock tunnel. A car like that is worth more uncut I'm sure. I thought the 5 and 6 speeds were too big for that tunnel.

According to the AMC website, the owner of McLeod  could not confirm how many components are sourced from China   but for 2300us  its a deal...

McLeod 5-speed
