I guess with 20 years coaching under my belt I was pretty calm BUT I was the first off the couch leaping for joy, darn near pulled a muscle biggrin

Lets see, we were all disappointed when the women lost the Curling Gold but there was a bigger plan in store. How about this for a Hollywood script. Take the Gold Medal hockey game to over time, let the USA score with 24 seconds left in regulation time. Make the US goal scorer Zack Parise the the son of a Team Canada 72 member (J P Parise), go into OT and let Sidney Crosby score the winner to make Olympic History.

Feels pretty good, eh!

Dam I couldn't watch, it was too nerve racking, I had to go out and do yard work or I would of had heart attack. I had the radio on and had my daughter run out when anybody scored. Wife was glued to it though.

Congradulation Canada on your quest for OWNING THE PODIUM.

As I write this there is 100,000 people at the corner of Yonge and Dundas in Toronto cheering for joy. It might be just a game BUT It's our game.

Wow we got our monie's worth there. Was funny as my wife and I were watching heading into overtime my wife gets a text message from my daughter in Montreal asking if Dad is still alive. About 3 minutes earlier I had commented to my wife about how hard this is on a guy's heart. Luckily we all survivied. Now to watch the rest of the closing ceremonies.
