65 Grand Parisienne

Hmm , no such thing as a 65 Grande Parisienne but it certainly is a 65. It looks to be a Parisienne, not a Custom Sport due to the bench seat. That sure is a classic combo for a convertible Pontiac! I like it...

John, that looks like a nice car. It's not too far from you, just a little south on the southern shore. I can't remember ever seeing it. I bet John D. knows it.

Yes, I know the car. It was originally a light blue 6 cyl standard trans car, converted back in the late 80s to V8 auto using a 66 aparisienne 4 dr ht parts car as I recall.  I spoke with the original owners (an elderly man and woman) not long after they sold the car. It was in original condition at the time of sale.

That car in Cupids is a 65 iris mist (light purple) on purple interior Custom Sport convt with a 327/300 and automatic. From Saskatchewan or somewhere out west. When I had my white convt, both the red and the iris mist convts were around here too. There is also a red 65 Parisienne 2 dr ht in Cupids area, and a black 65 Parisienne 2 dr ht in St. John's.
