Being an American and visiting relatives in the Toronto area since I was a little kid, I already knew and appreciate Canada as an ally and all the Canadians that I have become friends with over the years.

Living close to the border and being able to watch the Olympics in Vancouver on both NBC and CTV I have heard both sides of the story and enjoy seeing the friendships and the rivalries in all of the sports. Regardless of the outcome, we will always be friends.
