What a heart stopper!     it could have gone either way!    Glad to see Canada win in these circumstances...at home etc.

I won't forget today, as my 60 year old Uncle died today ...  45 years of smoking and good old chemo did him in... no imune system..  dies of pneumonia...C2

As Crosby was going down the ice with the puck I had a feeling he would get the winner.  He'd been somewhat quiet all game, but he was due.  And assisted by Iginla, one of the best players in the world.

Go Canada Go.

Yes, I missed one of the best games of all time. My wife really wanted to see Avatar and her brother came over to look after the folks. We walked into East Side Mario's for dinner right when the winning goal was scored! At least I saw that..

Sorry about your Uncle Carl.

(Coincidently, I was thinking about my late Uncle today as he was one of the goalie's for the Cdn Olympic team back in '52 when they won gold in Oslo.  And oddly enough he passed away on Feb 29th, a leap year.  I say oddly, because he had an interesting relationship with numbers as he was #00 in '52 and they almost didn't let him play because the Olympic committee said that "zero was not a number".  He played as "00" then they banned the use of it in the Olympics.  Again, sorry for your loss, and thanks for letting me ramble.)

Storybook ending ... couldn't have ended any better!
Crosby deserved that goal, he touched the puck so many times in that play, before finally getting to sink it low on the far side behind Miller!

Congrats to Canada for a spectacular win yesterday. A fitting finale to one of the best Winter Olympics ever. We'll all be talking about this for a long time. Proud to be your neighbor.

Thought you guys might get a kick out of this article from my hometown newspaper. Ryan Miller played as good a game (and tournament) as any other player and without him Team USA would not have reached this Gold Metal game.

Nash belongs in Toronto, but it will never happen with Burke at the helm, we wouldn't want to have a marquee Canadian playing for Toronto afterall.

Having no cable or satelite i had to do a little work to get the game in...but i saw it, not on CTV or any English version, nope, got OMNI out of Toronto, one of the 2 stations so i watched it in Chinese! Now that was an interesting experience! So i'll remember where i was and how i watched it!

We got to watch the game on our Westjet flight from Miami to Toronto! The plane went wild at the win, and both the pilot and co-pilot came out to watch at least two different times.
One flight I'll always remember... unlike most others!

as a player that has played the gama at the higher levels, that is how the game was ment to be played. Hard in both ends of the rink. Bravo to both teams, could have gone either way. Congratulations.
