FYI my computer guy informed me few days ago that AVG is still free,BUT....will no longer remove the virus, just tell you you have one.If you pay for it ,it will then be just like nortons.so I bought nortons 360. Who knew,I guess nothing is really free.

I bought Norton 360 this year, I had Norton Utilities and Anti-Virus last year and it seemed easier to work with...

AVG wouldn't even open for me to show me the problem. I was less than impressed. My service provider told me it is the best protection out there but I now disagree!

Now tonight finally it opens and says 3 trojan horses.

Still a mess. I opened a new photobucket account (other one is almost full) and pulled all my pics over to it tonight. What a job. Now my wife and kids still have to do their's. At least we can get to the pics. Earlier today I couldn't do that either.

Anyone been to Steve's Nova Site since I posted this? I am not willing to go back there yet.

I run AVG and obviously that didn't do it. I have NO idea what to do with this. Any ideas where to start?

EDIT  03/05/2010

I should not say for sure it's from Steve's as I originally did. It is quite possibly from the Team Nova site, OR Steve's. Both sites had this virus apparently.

my brother goggled the the site that was telling me I had 29 viruses. It told me if I sent $47 it would repair damages. Goggle showed that they were trying to get money from me and there was no viruses. It told us how to get rid of it and it worked. All is good . I`m not going back to team Chevelle or Steve`s Nova just in case.

I had the same thing but I could repair for only $29. They must feel sorry for prairie boys!

It appears AVG fixed it for free!
