My 327 is on hold a while longer I guess......

But it's for a good cause. We won Zone IV, we're off to provincials!!!!! Woo-hoo!!!

Our son is back row, center left with the jersey zipper open a bit, black shirt underneath, curly hair. I have to make him look excited!!!

Well congratulations but I'm going to have to rib you abit. I was going to respond to your other thread when you were considering cheering against victory so you could work on your car and I thought, Carl, Carl, don't be selfish. One thing I did find out and that is those years with the kids just go by so fast and yet they are some of my most treasured memories. Anyhow enjoy and pass on good wishes for the provincials.

Congrats on the win. You only sleep 4 hours a night so there is still time to work on the car.

Remind him of the car he gets when he turns 21.  If that doesn't do it, nothing will!  LOL
Congrats

He reminds me almost daily of that car, don't worry!

Thanks guys. It was a real exciting game. We had beat them twice this season but close games. we knew they would want it REAL bad, and we were right. They had us 17-8 in about 5 minutes flat! The boys played super hard and just kept clawing back. The coach played Parker the entire first half, so he was bushed at the break. At that point I think it was a 2 point spread. He finally had a breather for about 2 minutes middle of the 3rd quarter and them back at it. We finally opened the gap a bit in a few minutes into the 4th and by the 4 minute mark I think we were up 9 or 10. At that point their opponents got a bit deflated and our guys just worked harder. I think the final spread was close to 20 points.

The neat part is, this is a small school so it's the senior team (only team) and the only 2 grade 12's are holding the banner. Good start on next years team already!

Oh, the guy on Parker's left is about 6'5", in Grade 10! Gotta love jeans shopping for a guy that tall with a 30" waist!

That's strange, Parker's normal bedtime is around 11. 10:20 here and the shower is long over, the lights are out in his room!!!
