Watching race with 65camino, were couldn't believe our eyes that he would turn a guy like that. Two laps left, what a poor excuse that 99, ruined the race for others too.

Certainly was a huge wreck and lucky that no one died or got badly hurt. Those guys never think about the "what if".... Wonder how Edwards would feel if someone died because of his nonsense? How would he like to live with that hanging over him? I hope the penalty is a stiff one.
In my opinion that is part of racing and not a big deal! thats what the sport needs to get a fan base back every thing is to safe now days! Restrictor plates, non factory wings on the back of cars, multiple car teams, and indy car drivers have all wrecked NASCAR! No more smokey Yunicks out there, no more Dale Ernharts, No Harry Gants, Richard Petty's, Nascar needs to get back to its roots or it will just fade away, He didnt wreck him he rubbed him and rubbing is Racing!LOL(Got that from days of thunder)
Just found out Carl is on Probation for 3 races? What a joke! Lost me as a viewer. Sure rubbin is racing but taking out a guy on a high speed track!! Come on it's not Darlington or a 1/2 mile where rubbing happens every lap.
I agree with Tiny that racing needs to get back to racing. Don't think he remembers Mario and Anthony Joseph winning the 500 or Dan Gurney dominating Riverside, though.
Laughed at the aftershow where they were boasting about one driver changing brands and finishing good in a new car. Another joke. The cars are the same as they all fit the same template. As for the engines Nascar has dictated all the details of the engine so they are all within a percentage of each other.
Nascar is now a JOKE! Smokey is rolling over in his grave!
P.S. Look up Junior Johnson's yellow Banana from 1965/66...
I imagine I may step on some toes but I have felt for years that Nascar is a joke. It's totally commercial, made to please the fans. I would watch wrestling sooner! Well, maybe not quite....

Edwards was on the receiving end of Keslowski's same type hit last year, and it was a way worse crash at that. Also debris went into the stands on that one. No excuse for Edwards, but tit for tat I'm sure. I went and drove one down in Vegas last year at the Richard Petty school. One the 8 lap rookie deal you can only get up to 135 mph, but you go around the corners almost flat out, and it is WAY too much fun. Next time you go to Vegas...go do it! $400 and worth a grand.
I didn't think the cars nowadays were supposed to flip over like that! Looked like a sheet in the wind.
When you turn one of these around backwards, that "wing" lifts the car instead of giving some down force. I think "ol cousin Carl" should get a 3 race suspension, as that was a delibrate take out. You could see his hands turn right, when he got up near the bumber & on the straight a way!!! No need for that at all!!! If NASCAR doesn't impose a suspension & "hefty fine" the reces will will become a DEMO DERBY

Since he admitted doing it on purpose, I think he should have to pay for repair or replacement cost to all cars involved. I would imagine it cost Keselowski's team $500,000 in winnings and replacement cost. The track at 190 mph is not the place for retaliation. Meet up somewhere after the race and beat the crap out of each other.
