When I translate this asking price into £ sterling it seems to good to be true. Are prices really that depressed over there?

If the frame is shot it may be a fair price. East coast cars can get nasty underneath. I have never seen this one.

What a deal and a half. Looks generally pretty good over all on the body all around. I'm not really stuck on the wheels mind you, but that's not hard to remedy.

The pound sterling vs the canuck buck has taken a real **** kicking lately. Check the conversion rate.
I have a previous co-worker who is drawing a pension in pounds sterling but lives in Canada and has real taken a **** kicking.

I heard on the news at noon on CBC today during their business segment, that economists are predicting our dollar to rise as high as $1.02 and then at year's end go back down to the $0.97 mark where it was today. Guess now's the time to be buying any parts or cars that one wants or needs out of the U.S. And Carl? Whatever the guy paid for those wheels is still too much even if someone gave them to hm! LOL!
