Just saw a press release that indicates they ran 350,000 cases so we ran over to the Shoppers and picked up 8 cases, could have had 50. They got one skid of 12 dozen. When we took one case off the skid we found a factory document like a packing slip that was dated February 19, 2010. Now that's positive thinking, 5 days after openeing ceremonies and these were made!

I have tried to save Cokes in the past, Blue jays win etc...and over time it rots the cans out and leaks out. I have a good friend who has worked at Coke since high school, Canadian HQ right here in our little hamlet of East York, and Scott tells me shelf life is 6 months. A woman here at work has a husband who is an avid collector and she tells me he has a special operation for removing the beverage while keeping cans intact.
That's a nice tribute, but shouldn't it say "teams" as both our ice hockey teams won gold? The girls count too. This just from a guy whose wife and nieces are Hockey players.
Probably should BUT the famous commercial NOW THEY KNOW WHOSE GAME THEY'RE PLAYING ran first after the Womens Gold Medal Victory so I think it is a tribute to both.
Great, Now I have to go look for specials cans of coke... Something else to have in my collection of random stuff LOL

My son has decided to put our's up on Ebay. We drank a few and they are absolutely awesome, rumour has it that they blended a special batch of the old Coke receipe, smooth and flavourful, almost like a fountain coke.
Anyway we are thinking about selling the cases intact. Cans are being bid from $6 on up.
Clint, send me your address in PM, we will shoot you an empty.

I had four cases of Blue Jay win Pepsi-I sold them about five years ago-only one can leaked a little over the years (more than 10 years) I still see intact ones at swap meets
