i'm going full chrome ( 64 custom sport ) buckets in my 63 Acadian hardtop. I like bling !! I will also have an original 63 console..so lots of chrome.

About 10 years ago I had several sets of the inside and outside trim. I never gave it much thought. I sold them off over a couple years thinking I would find another parts car to strip them from in the future. Well it has been 6 or 7 years since I've had any extra's and I haven't even seen any for sale. Luckily both of my cars have the original seats with excellent trim so no problem but I have a set of bare seats with none of the trim and haven't been able to sell them mainly because of the missing trim. So, my suggestion is use the originals, don't take a chance on not having the original trim available in the future. These are stainless steel, hard to find without pits and will probably never be reproduced. The chrome over the top trim was used on the full size cars and anyone with any knowledge of GM cars will immediately recognize they don't belong in the car.
