Maybe the price  reflects the fact that it has one of those 350 big block engines with Corvette rally wheels.

Seriously though, he says he has reciepts for over $55,000 in restoration work. Now why would anyone spend that on a $5,000 car confuse

PS: Canucks looked good tonight!

You can put $55,000 into a Astra and good luck getting it out.
PS Watched my frist sledge hockey game. Talk about a good game. All I had to worry about was the butt end od a stick. These guys have ice picks on the end...ouch.

Boy that would be a screaming deal if it was actually an SD but it's a 75 455 regular block.

See, this is a good example of what i talked about in my other post.

40,000 worth of labour costs.
15,000 worth of parts
equals 55,000 invested

actuall street value:  15,000 tops

why do people always think they will get the LABOR cost back when they go to sell their car?

Try as we might, I don't think in our lifetime we will ever fix that. I am constantly explaining to people about that.

Whenever I hear " Pontiac big block" I instantly put the person saying it on the same level as the moron who told me about his '68 455 Judge. But that one was rare because of the Hurst transmission..............
