Since we were talking about pre war cars recently, here is a nice one- a 29 Peerless.
I have been following this one. It was for sale in the U.S for about 30k. It sold at auction. I don't know what the final bid was. It's been for sale for a while in Burlington. Last time I checked he wanted 10k. That's Model T pricing.
Very nice car for that kind of money. One of the 3 "BigP's" Pierce Arrow, Packard, Peerless. These cars were comparable to Mercedes "S" class or Rolls Royce of today.
Joe bought his 1927 Pierce Arrow in the fall for $12,000. These are beautiful cars, no question.
Ray, I have a friend with a 36 Pierce that has been under restoration for a decade and still not done. I think he's spent close to $40k on it so far. This Peerless would be a far better car from the financial viewpoint. I better not show him this listing
