I just aquired my Grandfather's 68 Cadillac Coupe DeVille that he bought from Bowell Mclean new in 68. The origional dealer emblem went missing several years ago. I am trying to locate one and get it back on the car. If anyone knows of one please let me know.
Finally found two Bow Mac dealer scripts. One was near mint. Here is the 68 Caddy that I got from my Mom. Just finished refurbishing it late this fall. It is now back to show room condition. Car was origionally bought at Bow Mac in the fall of 68 by my Grandfather. Car to date has just over 33,000 miles. Two thousand I have put on it since getting it a year and a half ago. Note the rare power bucket seat optoion

there's a 68 Coupe de Ville around the corner from me, he's been trying to sell it for years - it needs a restoration. Those cars have a unique profile with the short passenger compartment.
More of interest with this caddy is the fact that it still has an outstanding recall addressing a possible problem with the carb linkage. I still have the original letter addressed to my grandfather. He never pursued the issue. I have had a little fun walking into the local Caddy dealership with the letter. Also the car still sports the original BC 68 issue plates.
