When I was 16 my best friend and I would fantasize about each having a Superbird or Daytona and going to Grand Bend (a popular beach near here) and hanging our beach towels over the wings. Mine would be Lemon Twist, his would be In-Voilet. Heck those cars were 10 grand back then and we could never afford one!

If you wanted a In-violet Superbird back in 70 you were out of luck.In-violet was never offered on the birds. The purple Daytona is in the body shop now getting a restoration.Originally a bronze car with a white wing.It has been in a barn for the last few years until the barn was torn down.
Nope, same car as the one at the top of the thread.Car sold new at Beaupre Auto in L`Ange Gardien ( just past Gramby on HW 10 ) It is up in the Sagueney now..
Did you ever go to Donald Coopers old scrap yard in the Colony? He did have a few rare cars but no wings....
