this post being done courtesy of my wife's PC, but my old one (not recognizing drives, starts with F4 for Setup) needs to be taken to the 'puter doctor, if I do not respond like you think I should, my apologies, hopefully he will work his magic and (Arnold's accent) "I'll be back" (but don't know when).

OK now I'm back, eh.

As I was tossing and turning in my sleep last night, it occurred to me that maybe the DVD drive had died, so this morning I unplugged the suspect drive and voila, PC booted fine. Today I'll make a trip to Best Buy to get a new drive, eh.

Does that catch me up for one lost day, Carl, eh?
