" SD-396" STRIPES ARE ON


well thanks to john the stripes went on with know major issuesbiggrinbiggrin it took about 4hrs. the stripes sure give the car a different look....

no   not yet wink   have to wait til trip to N.B/N.S. next month   I was just looking at stripe comparison..     I like white stripes better...   The car in NS is plenty dark for me I like light colors like the light green....

Wow !!! Thought it looked good before but that just caps it off.  I wonder if I could get away with useing those stripes and put 350 instead of 396 on the side. Make it a sport custom. SC instead of SD.

yes`with that dark blue white stripes would look better..noticed they took it off kijiji..

ian` nice original idea...but the only thing is the first thing people will say is "that stripe is not right" people love picking cars apart..

oh yes that car is crystal turquoise isnt it?

black stripe would be correct

crystal Turquoise looks nice with a white top(which would have a white stripe to match in 1969)

Your right.  It just to bad the option was not available on custom models. A sport Custom would have been kind of nice. Was just dreaming again.

 The car looks great Bill. You are doing an awesome job. I know how much work it is to install that stripe kit and John made it happen.
 Maybe we can get your car and mine together this summer for a "family" photo.
