283 crank flange

Was at my freinds on Saturday and noticed he had a 283 in the corner.  He said it was a 283 but noticed it had a crank flange like a 327. The one with two notches. The block number is for a 283 (3896944) but I always thought 283 crank   flanges were round or with one notch.  Could a cast crank look like the 327 and the forged round ?  I guess the only way to find out is to take it apart. Had a suffix code of GS. Thats for a 67 passenger car 283 4 speed with air injection . Any body have any 283 cranks laying around and know what the rear flange looks like ?

In 1967 the 283s changed cranks.
instead of the previous steel in early years.
