Been busy in the shop

Well I also havnt posted much on here for a while. I have had nothing but troubles with the latest project. So dishartened that I was ready to post it for 500 buck get it the outta the yard.
Well a buddy has been helping me out with it and finally got it moving under its own power. As some might recall I was asking before about cams and settings. Well that didnt work. I grenaded  the motor that I had done up for the truck. Also had to chuck the trans as the rad tanks let go and filled the trans with water. So on to craigslist and the next day got a 87 chevy with a 350 and 700 r4. Being told all was good. Got rid of the FI stuff and back to carb and manifold. Had the trans check and yup junk. So and good chunk of change and had that all rebuilt. Was prepin the roof for color and that didnt work either. Wiped the surface with grease remover and it attacked all the paint so time to strip to metal. Finally got the silver on it on tuesday afternoon.   Then on Wed my pop and I got the rest of the cab and fenders preped and said well lets try it. Must say I am happy with the outcome.    Glad I decided to hang on it

Truck looks great. It always seems to be one step forward 2 or 3 back.

Thanks for the comments folks. I had a group show up on Thursday night again and the assembly party began. Got a very large majority of the trim back on the truck now. Hopefully if the weather holds out this weekend I will roll it outta the shop and snap some outdoor shots. I did paint the truck infront of the garage with a tarp booth. A little polishing but all will be good in a couple weeks
