If I look at the color chart offered for the US model, some color are missing if I look at the car 53 booklet offered to futur customer in a dealer ship for Canadian car. My question is : the Canadian Pontiac (53-54) use the color chart of the Chevrolet or only the US made?
In the booklet we see some color offered on chevrolet of the same year and not offered on the US made.
Someone can help with the Canadian color? (and by the way, anyhelp for the interior color?)
Thanks.
Fitz.

I know that the US and Canadian Chev exterior colour numbers differs. Example US503 = CDN357 = Horizon Blue = Duco 1554 = Dulux 93-57331 I would suspect the same thing for Pontiacs.
Unfortunately my Cdn exterior paint swatch book starts at 1956.
I did find a page that list 1953 GM interior colour info. Here's the Pontiac part of it colour name DuPont code Dark grey metallic DUM-8146 Medium blue metallic DUM-8148 Dark Green metallic DUM-8149 Dark brown metallic DUM-8137 Grey metallic no match Dark red DUM-8150-H Dark grey metallic no match Dark blue metallic DUM-8152 Dark green metallic DUM-8153 * for interior use only - Add up to 10% 4528 "Duco" Flattening Compound to improve "Duco" Laquer mixes to reduce gloss
Dug a little deeper and I have the 1953 US colour chips for Chev but not Pontiac.
Also since some Pontiac models sold in Canada were manufactured in the US I would expect that they would carry US colour numbers.
