Car show and auction. Pretty steep price to get in the door. I think it was $18 last year. Most of the cars I see for free at car shows. Never stayed for the auction. I see someone listing their 69 Beaumont to the highest bidder. Maybe has a reserve price?? This used to be the car show at the Pacific Colisium to start the year. If you never have gone it's an ok show. They have high powered go karts running on a track. They start up a few funny cars as well.
Personally I dont even bother going there anymore. Like Kim said 18 bucks to get in and dont forget the 5 to get out. Ya sound weird but its 5 bucks to park and you have to pay to get out. Usually there is about 50 cars from what I remember. You can probably be throught the whole thing in approx 2 hours. I think it would be a waste of time for you to come all the way from the island. Just my 2 cents

There are quite a few vendor booths. Mostly new stuff, disc brakes, suspension, rims and tires, but pretty good variety. I've gone the last couple years and find it well worth the money. I look at it that I spend $10 to see a lousy movie, I quite enjoy this alot more. For me to watch Chip Foose draw a couple pictures for people is worth the money right there. Pretty awesome talent. Put in perspective I think it isn't badlly priced entertainment.
People are getting three shows mixed up. The coastal swapmeet is late may. You won't find any SD trim unless you bring it. Its big, cheep and fair. The Feburary car show is the lousy one, don't bother. This one is great, high end cars, quality vendors, entertainment, Chip Foose,(and some of his cars a local collector has) George Barris, with the ORIGINAL 1966 Batmobile, hotties, bands etc. Very good show. Even a beer garden!
