Okay, last year had to fix it because of no start situation, back to the situation again. Was starting good all year, then two weeks ago, when its nice out. No start. This time, I get clicking. Like a woodpecker! What is it? the starter? I will post a video of it.
Battery was new from last year, headlights go on.

I'm pretty sure "click click click" is insufficient battery power, clean connections are a must, and sometimes a new battery does not last as long as you think it should (if you have a warranty and can easily take it to where you bought it, they can test it and maybe replce it if it is one ob the bad ones that sneak through).
Hang in there, you'll solve the problem, and - could be worse* you could be driving a miserable piece of Jap**se junk, eh?

* anyone remember that classic line from Young Frankenstein? Where Marty Feldman and Gene Wilder are digging in the grave, and then it starts raining ... I am practically falling out of my chair laughing now at the memory!!!

What dome light? mine doesn't have one. Or you mean the lights in the back. They go on, but they go dimmer (but stay on)when the headlights are turned on.
Get someone to put a multimeter on the battery as you turn it over. Check the volatge before during and after. Before should be at least 13 volts or higher.
It really sounds like a bad connection. I would pull off the cables and make sure it's all clean and tight. Do you have another battery to try, in case that is the problem.
It sounds as if the solenoid is trying, it's just not getting enough power to fully engage it.

Okay, its low on juice. I also changed one of the battery terminals because it was loose (it would just turn off loosly). and the battery has been Charging for 2 hours, we finally got her cranking. But died out. Will keep you updated. Hopefully we will get her started Thanks guys, Thanks CDN2PLUS2 -- Edited by mike667 on Sunday 25th of April 2010 04:05:31 PM
